How to Crochet tr2tog

How to Tr2Tog
I have had quite a few emails asking me how to tr2tog and so I am now writing this up for you.
tr2tog = work two incomplete tr stitches, keeping the last loop of each stitch on the hook and then completing both stitches together.
UK – tr, US - dc
Begin with the appropriate size chain. Work first treble into 4th chain from hook.

YO, into stitch, YO, back through stitch (3 loops on hook)

YO, draw through 2 loops (2 loops on hook)

YO, into next stitch, YO, back through stitch (4 loops on hook)
YO, draw through 2 loops (3 loops on hook)

YO, draw through all 3 loops.

Here I have completed two tr2tog.

Thanks so very much! For days I've searched for this stitch on a motif pattern. It called for 5tog and this demonstration allowed for much needed clarity on the project. You should demonstrate this on You Tube. You'd probably get enough hits to make a little change:).

Thanks very much! I needed to know what tr2tog meant also. My practice run was going in a circle, so I knew something was wrong!

Awesome!!! Finally got an answer to my question. I have been trying to make this heart motif and it calls for tr4tog and dtr5tog. I was totally stumped! Thanks for the help! I'm so excited, I can now make my heart!
